KATE EHIZOGIE: COMPANY SECRETARY/HEAD, LEGAL.
Kate Ehizogie is a seasoned lawyer with 11 years’ post call experience and counting. She commenced her career practice at the firm of Abiodun Onidare & Co where she worked as a Counsel.
She later joined the corporate and commercial law firm of Peniel Solicitors and Advocates as a Counsel where she handled commercial litigation, company secretarial practice, simple contracts and transactions relating to property acquisitions, debt recovery, Insurance, Landlord and Tenancy, Employment and Labour matters e.t.c, and rose to the position of a senior counsel.
Subsequently, in the course of her career, she joined Masters Energy Oil & Gas Limited where she rendered in house counsel services covering oil and gas, asset acquisition, corporate/ project finance and shipping where she rose to managerial position. After seven years of acquisition of wealth of experience and skills, she joined the banking industry.
Presently, she is the Company Secretary and Head, Legal Services of Olive Micro Finance-Bank Limited. She provides, supervises and implements cutting-edge legal solutions in various strategic interest-areas of the business.
She holds a law degree from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and the Nigerian Law School, with a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
She is a member of several professional associations, including Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, Nigeria Bar Association, and Nigeria Institute of Management.
She has attended several training in Oil & Gas, Company Secretary ship, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism, Management.
She is also a member of various committees for the repositioning of the Bank.
