Mr. Ohalete Thomas holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He is Cisco Certified Professional, with over 10 years’ experience as a Server Administrator, Network Administrator and Database Administrator.
He started his career with Cledop West Africa Ltd as a Drilling Fluid Engineer, where he spent about one year before resigning to pursue a full-time career in Information Technology. He did short courses with COPHILD IT Institute, New Horizon IT Institute and KARROX IT Training Institute where he obtained IT Trainings/Certification in Microsoft Server/System Administration, Cisco Networking Technology, Database Administration, Website Design & Management and Microsoft (C#) Programming.

He later joined Olive Microfinance Bank at the inception of the bank in 2008 as a Supervisor in the ICT Department in charge of Networks and System Administration, where he spent about 3 years, before proceeding to Masters Energy Oil & Gas, a leading company in the Downstream Sector of the Petroleum Sector with the biggest Private tank Farm of over 160,000MT in Sub Sahara Africa. He was the pioneer Head of ICT department at Masters Energy Oil & Gas Ltd, a position he held from 2011 until 2017.

While at Masters Energy, he supervised/coordinated ICT functions in various subsidiaries of the Masters Energy Group, including the Masters Industrial City, Uturu, Master’s LPG Gas, Lagos, Alsa Petrochemical (LUBE), Lagos, and Masters Beverages & Food, Lagos.

He has attended various training in IT security, IT network infrastructure and Certified Ethical Hacking.

In November 2017, Mr. Ohalete Thomas was invited to resume at Olive Microfinance Bank as the Ag. Head, ICT Department.
